Italy: Intercultural Sensitivity Training for diversity handling

News

Would you like to improve the way you are able to handle diversity in your work environment or daily life by developing your abilities in areas such as intercultural awareness, non-violent communication and dealing with trauma related to the migration journey?

Within the project WELCOMM  “Supporting integration of third country nationals through developing learning and collaboration tools to build welcoming and inclusive communities“, CESIE is launching a free training course dedicated to activists, volunteers, NGO officials and Public administrative assistants (social workers, teachers, cultural mediators, psychologists etc.) on the topic of intercultural sensitivity.

The course responds to the need for continuous and innovative trainings to ensure the effective development of intercultural awareness. During these (weekly) trainings, participants will have the opportunity to reflect and define their approach on topics such as culture, interculturality, non-violent communication and trauma understanding/management that is linked to the migration experience.  In this regard, non-formal education is a valuable learning tool aimed at supporting the skills of workers or volunteers that interact with such environments.

At the end of the training, the participants will receive a certificate of participation.

If you are interested to participate or have questions, please send an email to roberta.lobianco@cesie.org by 10th March; we will contact you for further information for the registration process.
